dd7t3434_8gqs9wkf6_bYou can never build a business without taking the human factor into consideration, and that is a factor that is always a changing variable in any equation. There are no absolutes about people. You will always find exceptions to the rules, but there are at least two things that many people will have in common that you can use to your advantage in building a network for your business. These are:

1. People are attracted to leaders. There are people who know how to lead, and there are those who would rather follow. Leaders are not born; they are made. Aside from having the right qualifications, a leader should also have the right mindset. That means that he should be concerned about the people who follow him and their needs, and not mainly what they can do for him. The common mistake of people who think they are good leaders is that they think that the measure of a good leader is how much he can make other people dance to his tune, order them around, or show how much superior he is to them.

2. People want to make decisions on their own. You may think you can convince another person, or change their mind about something, but the reasons that people do what you want or ask them to are never really the same as the reasons you give them. The key to effective business marketing is stacking the odds in your favor by showing them that a decision that is favorable to you is favorable to them, as well. They also tend to make these decisions based on emotions rather than pure logic.

These are two things that can work for you in building your business by using the attraction marketing formula. For the part of being a leader, you should always keep in mind that aside from having the experience and knowledge that will qualify you as an expert in your field, you should have the ability and desire to share your knowledge with people in your network to let them know that they are valuable to you.

For the second part, it again has to do with your willingness to share your knowledge and information and the reason for it. If you share your information because you care about the people in your network, the odds will almost always be that they will decide in your favor. For your part, however, you should try to keep from making emotional decisions, as well as have the emotional maturity to accept whatever decision anyone in your network will choose to make. Show your gratitude if they choose the option you want, but never show spite if they decide against you.
